The 2015 Anne Arundel County Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner is honored to have as its keynote speaker the conservative hero and former Governor of Puerto Rico, Luis Fortuño. Fortuño was the first ever Republican Congressman elected from Puerto Rico and was the first Republican to be elected Governor of Puerto Rico since 1969. When Luis Fortuño became Governor he promised a new kind of government and quickly cut 38,000 government jobs, shrinking the government by 20%, and cut personal income-tax rates in half.

The Lincoln Day Dinner is the primary fundraiser for the Anne Arundel County Republican State Central Committee. The Central Committee raises funds to support Republican candidates for Anne Arundel elected positions in county and state government. Members of the Central Committee are elected every four years by state legislative district (21, 30, 31, 32, 33) in the Republican primary during state election cycles.
The next Maryland state elections are in 2014 during which Marylanders will elect all state offices including 141 delegates, 47 state senators, governor, comptroller, attorney general as well county and other local offices.
